MLK Scholarship

Investing in the future by focusing on the youth since 1984, The Ministers’ Conference of Winston-Salem and Vicinity has raised over $100,000 for 250 scholarships for college-bound students. Students can use scholarship funds to buy books, pay for transportation, and other educational essentials.

    • high school senior with 2.0+ gpa

    • high achieving, minority student

    • involved in church, civic, community, and school extracurricular activities

    • belongs to a church that is an active contributor to the MLK Scholarship Memorial Seed Fund

    • complete application

    • school administrator certification

    • 2 letters of recommendation

      • with one being from your pastor

      • teacher reccomendations

    • submit completed application and all additional documents in the mail or via e-mail by July 7, 2023
